Cretelakes is a beautiful 4 lake venue set in 60 acres. The lakes are former gravel pits dug around 25 years ago and around this time they were stocked with carp and other course fish. The venue has been left undisturbed to flourish and mature with its tree lined banks and stocks of fish for two decades. We acquired the lakes and set about creating a carp fishing holiday venue that would be second to none. After 6 months of tree removal 31 swims were created that were strategically placed to maximize everybody’s chances. In the winter of 2008 we added a new stock of over 1,000 fast growing French carp including over 400 30lb+ fish. The original stock has already produced fish to 50lb+ and are still growing.

The onsite facilities at Cretelakes are excellent with a fully equipped kitchen, a large seating area with sky TV, a shop stocking those essential items including a large stock of bait, and a shower block housing 4 showers and 2 toilets. The showers are open 24 hours a day and can be used at your own convenience.

Les Best is the head bailiff and is a qualified chef, he will be on hand to cook the all important meals and look after your daily needs. Les has a wealth of experience working and fishing on some very well known waters in France and has landed a string of big fish to just under 60 pound.

The venue will be run on a all-inclusive basis with a luxury coach leaving Dover at 2.30am on a Saturday morning, we expect to arrive at the venue around 9.30 am local time
